    Medicine, Business and Community in ActionH-E-B and TMF Health Quality Institute recently committed to continue their multi-year support of TMA’s Be Wise — Immunize program for 2013 and 2014. This is the second two-year investment by these outstanding health leaders. “This is what we mean when we talk about the power of medicine, business and community collaborating to achieve great health for more Texans. We thank them, along with the TMA and TMAA members and community groups who sponsor Be Wise events to protect Texans from serious, yet preventable diseases,” remarked Russell WH Kridel, MD, FACS, president of TMAF.

TMAF raised more than $700,000, welcomed 400 new donors, and provided more than $330,000 in grant support to TMA and its family of medicine for public health and science initiatives.
